** 0700/0800 Broadcast: All LBFD Personnel Reboot MDTs **
Updated communication plan has been updated on the MobileCom primary profile. For all units to receive the communication plan, they must update their MDTs. All personnel must log off and reboot their MDTs to help facilitate this update/change.
*** FCC, please air the above information at the 0700 and 0800 broadcasts as a reminder to floor personnel. ***
MDT Update Instructions
Make sure to login to MobileCom with the Unit ID and Password
Step 1: Type Getupdatesnow
Step 2: Press Send
Step 3: Click on Yes
Step 4: Click ok and close MobileCom (Wait 10 seconds before re-launching MobileCom)
Step 5: Double click MobileCom to restart MobileCom
After restarting MobileCom, an updated communications plan will appear on the top selection bar named “Radio Freq.”
If the update is not there. Repeat steps 1 – 5 two more times
